On May 3rd, 2025, Deonte Holden was officially inducted into the 100 Black Men of Greater Washington, D.C. as part of the historic Class of 2025—marking the largest new member cohort in the organization’s 30-year history. This milestone is not just a moment of celebration but a powerful step forward in a mission grounded in leadership, legacy, and service.

Deonte joins a distinguished brotherhood of men committed to uplifting and empowering the next generation of Black youth through four key pillars: mentorship, education, health & wellness, and economic empowerment. As a former collegiate athlete, entrepreneur, and community leader, Deonte brings a dynamic mix of experience and purpose to this new chapter of service.

For Deonte, this moment represents more than membership, it’s a continuation of his life’s work. Through his leadership with Law of Athlete, he has long focused on equipping young people—especially athletes—with the tools to lead, grow, and thrive. Now, as a member of the 100 Black Men of Greater Washington, D.C., he is deepening that commitment, aligning with a collective of men who share a vision for lasting impact.

As the chapter itself stated, this new class brings “diverse expertise, innovative perspectives, and renewed vigor to our mission.” Deonte’s journey of service has just expanded in scope, and the work to uplift our community continues—stronger, together.
