Story of Gaveen
Our journey began in December 2014, rooted in the experiences of its founder, Deonte Holden, a former college athlete at NC State University searching for an identity beyond the field. To navigate NCAA regulations, Deonte adopted the alias "Antonio Gaveen," ensuring that his role as founder remained separate from his athletic career. This solution enabled him to develop Gaveen beyond its initial concept or limitations.
Inspired by the sophistication of Paris, where Deonte studied abroad, his experiences expanded the brand's vision. Our emblem, featuring two mirrored faces adorned with roses, symbolizes self-reflection and the continuous pursuit of self-improvement. The five roses on each head represent the number 55, a number he wore throughout his athletic career.
As reflected in our emblem, we believe personal growth can be both challenging and beautiful. This philosophy is embodied in the brand's name and logo, representing those who embrace elegance while striving to be their best selves.
Definition:
"Gaveen" (pronounced: [Gah-veen]) represents a person who embraces elegance while striving to be their best self or a person who is always evolving and doing so with grace and sophistication.
