Meet Deonte Holden

From childhood games in little league to the heights of DeMatha Catholic High School, NC State Wolfpack, and Professional Football, Deonte's passion for football has driven his remarkable journey. While his athletic achievements are commendable, his life transcends the boundaries of the sport. Yet, his evolution into an entrepreneur, speaker, creative director, and producer remain firmly grounded in the values forged as an athlete.

Excelling Beyond Athletics

Deonte's exploration of endeavors beyond the game began to unfold during his years at NC State. He not only excelled on the field but also pursued opportunities that enriched his life off it. He earned multiple degrees in Business Management, studied abroad in Paris, France, and embraced other international learning opportunities, engaged in philanthropic activities through Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and other non-profit organizations, and developed diverse business ventures.

Introducing Gaveen

Influenced by Deonte's interest in European elegance and personal growth, he developed the fashion brand, Gaveen. Rooted in a journey that began in 2014, Gaveen was born from Deonte Holden’s transition from collegiate athlete to creative visionary. Without formal fashion training, his time studying abroad in Paris became the catalyst for Gaveen’s identity—where refined luxury meets everyday versatility.

The brand blends timeless style with personal evolution, honoring those who pursue growth with intention and grace. Gaveen’s emblem—two mirrored faces adorned with five roses each—symbolizes self-reflection, resilience, and the beauty found in becoming. More than a brand, Gaveen is a statement for those who embody elegance while striving to be their best selves. Each collection reflects our belief that evolution isn’t just necessary—it’s inherently beautiful.

Introducing Law of Athlete

Fueled by Deonte's pursuit to help athletes excel beyond athletics, Law of Athlete (LOA) is a premier lifestyle brand and philosophy focused on athlete development. There’s no single path to greatness, and LOA supports that journey through curated educational programs, innovative products, and athlete-driven content.

Founded on April 1, 2020, by former NC State student-athlete Deonte Holden, the brand draws inspiration from Rudyard Kipling’s The Law of the Jungle, echoing NC State’s Wolfpack legacy. Deonte further defined this philosophy through the poem Law of the Athlete and the 12 Laws of Athlete, establishing a foundation for LOA to grow into a legacy brand.

Our mission is simple: elevate athletes through education, entertainment, and empowerment—equipping our community with the mindset and resources to maximize their potential.
